This collection of maps was created for the PhD thesis of social scientist Letícia Birchal Domingues, which investigates the dynamics of collective action by app-based delivery workers in Brazil. In one of the chapters, she analyzes 127 protest events that took place between March 2020 and December 2023.

The maps offer a spatial view of the distribution and scale of protests and campaigns. In her analysis, she highlights four protest dynamics: (i) national; (ii) platform-related; (iii) related to regulation and patrolling; and (iv) related to violence and humiliation.
